This position works with the Operations Chair to act as the point of the contact for the organization, plans meetings, keeps inventory of people, items and agendas.

PROGRAM COODINATOR

Do you enjoy working with people, developing and maintaining relationships and planning fun meet ups?

 

This position works with the Programs Chair to maintain the membership program, interacts with members on needs and concerns and plans membership meetups!

TREASURY ASSISTANT

Do you enjoy numbers, facts and statistics?

This position works with the Treasurer to record accounts information, financial transactions and budget information.

Perfect for an Accounting Major, new graduate or someone who loves numbers.

Marketing Coordinator

  • Develop and implement brand strategy

  • Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization.

  • Develop the marketing strategy for events and projects

  • Oversee implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.

  • Create Press Releases, flyers, and other marketing materials

  • Work closely with the Social Media team to create appropriate materials for Social Media campaigns

  • Ensure marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team.

  • Work closely with Event & Project Coordinators to define marketing materials needed

Social Media Coordinator

  • Create, curate, and manage relevant content on social media and website to reach the community

  • Design, implement and direct strategies to improve social media reputation and recognition.

  • Promote organization’s activities, projects, and events; as well as activities, projects, and events of members and community partners

  • Work with Marketing Director to implement brand and marketing strategies via social media platforms

Events Coordinator

  • Maintain a working relationship with local vendors and venues.

  • Understand the needs of different events, and diverse clients.

  • Plan event aspects, such as venue, seating, dining, and guest list.

  • Delegate event planning tasks to other members where necessary.

  • Coordinate event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers.

  • Work Closely with Treasurer to develop a budget for each event

  • Attentive to the value of staying under budget while planning event 

  • Manage and oversee events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with team members, organizing vendors, and managing take-down.

  • Communicate with marketing team to create effective advertisements and social media campaigns for each event.

  • Have strong communication skills, and the ability to present event ideas and plans to board and team members.

Community Outreach Coordinator

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community businesses, organizations, and individuals

  • Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances and other communication opportunities.

  • Attend outreach events in the community 

  • Assist in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.

Project Coordinator

  • Develop and maintain relationships with businesses and organizations

  • Coordinate joint projects that assist in the organization’s mission

  • Work with Marketing and Social Media Directors to develop a strategy for promoting project and it’s needs

  • Work with Fundraising Coordinator to develop a fundraising plan (if needed) for projects

Fundraising Coordinator

  • Develop and implement a strategy for effective fundraising

  • Oversee a donor management system

  • Assist Events Coordinator with the planning of any fundraising events

  • Work with Community Outreach Manager to develop and maintain relationships with possible donors and members

  • Work closely with Treasurer to understand financial needs.
